How to Move Forward

HOW TO MOVE FORWARD 

  God is faithful to His word and always keeps His promises. He has given us every reason to believe that our future is better than anything we could ever imagine. In Jeremiah 29:11, God says, “I will bless you with a future filled with hope—a future of success, not of suffering. Since God is the same yesterday, today, and forever, we can be sure God is speaking straight to us (Hebrews 13:8). We might not know the details of what’s ahead, but God does, and He’s working it all out for the good (Romans 8:28). 

  God is so good, He doesn’t only tell us that He’s taking care of our future, but He helps us move toward it. David tells us that God will direct every step we take (Psalms 37:23), and Solomon says God will direct each of our steps (Proverbs 20:24). It’s encouraging to know that God is walking with us. When there are times you find yourself stuck, remember that God’s right there with you, and He is guiding each step you take. To move forward, you must take steps and trust that He is leading each one of them.

  The people speaking into your life is also very significant when it comes to moving toward all God has for you. They can push you forward or pull you backward. This happens through the kind of conversations you’re having with them. Solomon says, “Your words are so powerful that they will kill or give life” (Proverbs 18:21). You need the ones around you who are encouraging, positive, and see the upside in every situation. Surround yourself with uplifting people, and you will be propelled forward. 

  God has a great future for you, and when you take steps with the right people around you, you will see God’s promises become reality!
